History
Our goal is to provide accounting services to small business in the same way that large business do. Large businesses usually have an entire accounting department that consists of staff accountants, accounts payable department, accounts receivable department, payroll department, credit and collections department, audit department, and senior management such as the Controller. Large businesses can afford the cost of having several employees that is known as the accounting department. Small businesses do not have that luxury. Small business owners usually take a brief class on a simple accounting program and do their best to make do with what they believe is required. We believe that small businesses should have the same opportunities as large businesses by having their own accounting department. That is what Profit and Las Vegas Bookkeeping does. We provide a service to small businesses wherein we will be the acting accounting department for our clients.
What Kind of Experience Do You Have?
The owner of Profit and Las Vegas (Jeff Peterson) is the same person that will be doing all of the accounting work for your business. He has over 15 years experience in working with a variety of businesses. He has worked from "mom and pop" stores to Fortune 500 companies. With this wide range of knowledge and a very diverse background in accounting as well as a college degree in Business Accounting, you can be very comfortable with him as your accountant. Since the inception of Profit and Las Vegas Bookkeeping, Mr. Peterson has helped numerous companies with starting businesses, to monthly accounting and bookkeeping services, to providing complete payroll services. Mr. Peterson will do a complete analysis of your company and learn all there is to know about your business. He takes a very personal approach and we are confident that you will really enjoy working with him.
Why Was Profit and Las Vegas Bookkeeping Created?
The State of Nevada is a remarkable place for entreprenuers to begin a business venture. With no state tax and many benefits to business owners in Nevada, we saw a need to help small businesses. Every business is required by law to file tax returns. In order to get to the point to where a business can file a tax return, there must be accounting activities completed in order to report the condition of the company's financial stability. Here at Profit and Las Vegas Bookkeeping, we want to be able to help all businesses with their accounting and bookkeeping needs.
